This section of my blog is the main reason I started this whole journey. It’s where my more nerdy side of cooking comes out—the side that cares just as much about why something works as how to make it taste good. Here, I dive deep into techniques, food science, and the little details that usually get skipped over. Why does browning matter? What actually happens when you rest meat? How do small changes completely flip a dish? That kind of stuff. Cooking isn’t just following a recipe to me; it’s experimenting, asking questions, and going down rabbit holes that somehow always lead to better food. Sometimes that means breaking “rules,” sometimes it means obsessing over one step for way too long.
